Arkbird Autopilot/OSD/GPS

Anyone familiar with the Arkbird system?  Looks like Range Video will continue to drag their feet forever on the RVGS and I need to get a system soon.

I think you should buy 2 and let me try one :).  If they have a tracker to go with it I would buy it.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I really like what I have researched on the RVOSD and RVGS systems.  Seems not overly complicated and very dependable, easy to install and setup, lots of options.   Its been over a month since they were supposed to have the RVGS back in stock.  I tried to get a group buy organized but who knows when they will have the complete system.  I hate being impatient but I realy do need something right away.  I am going to try to call Alan again at Range Video and see if he can give me a time frame.

RVOSD isn't out of stock Biker.  Honestly the tracker is not that necessary <ducks>.  really though :)  It's a "nice-to-have", but especially for the long range flight, just point a directional the way you want to go!

My PZ0481-N arrived today and my ADHD is kicking in LOL.   I know the OSD is available.  I was eager to try to get a better deal for a bunch of us and growing impatient waiting.  I am going to get a middle of the road OSD with GPS for now and put the super sky surfer on the shelf for now.  I will wait on the RVOSD + RVGS for it.   Now what can I find, cheap, basic and can get quickly for an OSD.  I just need something I can throw in the Bix 2 or the TRBR 60"??

Oh before I forget should I strip that camera down or leave it in its case and just remoce the heavy swivel mount?

I kept that mount on my bixler, but it definitely weighs in..  If you can ditch it i would (although it held up to a serious crash!)

Have to go back to the old post and see what the number are.  I will ask Alan about just getting the RVOSD at the discount price.  After waiting for this long we should get a 50% discount just for being loyal customers and holding off from buying a competitors product.  LOL

At a quick glance it appears to be quite versitile.  I do not see any RSSI output though.  Still investigating.  I see Bruce has a youtube video review I am watching now.

Ok so this thing does not have RSSI.  Any one else running another system without RSSI?  I am pretty convinced I should have a system with RSSI especially for long range.  Other than that this seems like a decent FC.
